1980s art school post-punk meets rustic boho flair with these upcycled tin earrings. Inspired by the punk-pop movement of the 1980s, these blue and gold tin earrings have all the patterns - geometrical, diamond, circular and crosses with flashes of gold, black and cobalt blue for good measure.
Made using a small Chinese vintage tea tin that, (being a little worse for wear in places) was destined for land-fill. I've saved the striking geometrical abstract design from the tin and hand-cut into teardrop shapes and double backed them, so there are patterns on both sides. They are also decorated with lantern style metal beads, square glass cobalt blue beads and iridescent seed beads dangle from the hem of each one. They are lightweight but sturdy.
Tin is traditionally known as the 10th wedding anniversary gift and these abstract 1980's earrings are very rough and rustic and would make an ideal gift for the pop-punk in your life.
They are made using gold plated wires which are hammered for strength. They are about 6 cm long and the drop length is about 7.5 cm.
Delivered in a rustic hand-stamped recycled paper gift box wrapped and tied with twine, so you don't need to re-wrap your item if it is a present. I can also add a FREE hand-written gift card with your special message to the recipient. Please convo me or include your words of wisdom in the message section at checkout.
