Tiny pink heather flowers captured in a golden honeycomb in eco-friendly resin to wear as a necklace.
This pendant was inspired by a deserted beehive that I found in a fallen tree last Autumn, the honeycombs all full of translucent nectar. I've taken an honeycomb charm and added a little nectar of my own to three of the hexagons, and encased pink heather flowers in them. A little silver tone bee hangs from the right hand side.
The resin used in this necklace is eco-friendly, derived from plants and trees so it is as close to bee's nectar as you can get without the stickiness. It captures the tiny flowers in a crystal clear glaze which magnifies them from certain angles and reflects the light. The hexagons are tiny at just 5 mm at their widest point and the whole honeycomb is a dainty 2. 5 cm wide.
The chain is available in your choice of length. For a handy guide to choosing the right necklace length for you, please visit:
