Triangle earrings representing water in Wiccan culture have been rustically forged from sterling silver and decorated with fire polished Czech glass beads.
I have recently become fascinated with pagan symbols and specifically how those practicing witchcraft use the four classic elements of alchemy in sacred Wicca rituals. The inverted triangle in particular is used to symbolize the element of water and is believed to have a strong connection to the feminine and with all aspects the Goddess.
The geometric shape of these earrings have been carefully forged from sterling silver and hammered for strength. Once soldered by hand, they have been connected to multi-faceted Czech glass beads with beautiful green and blue water hues, representing the connection between a river and the earth. They sit on sterling silver earring wires and each earring has been oxidised and polished by hand to create a dark, gothic patina.
The earrings measure 5.5 cm long and 2.2 cm wide with a drop length from the top of the earring wire to the point of the triangle of 7 cm.
